Breeze Reporter’s November theme is Hanok.
We went to Bukchon Hanok village and Unhyungung at November 21.

Unhyungung is private residence of Heungseon Daewongun who father of king Gojong.
King Gojong is Joseon dynasty’s 26th king.
Unhyungung has dignity, not official palace.

Many houses which have been keeping Korea’s native cultures are near by Unhyungung.
These houses called ‘Bukchon Hanok Village’.

Bukchon Hanok Village with Namsangol Hanok Village is famous for Korea’s native cultures.
Now, Bukchon Hanok Village has been developing on tourist resort.
For example, there has ‘Good Photo Spot’ and ‘museum day pass’.
It helps visitors to be convenient tour.

Thanks I stayed in a hanok last year and really enjoyed it – and having Insadong so close is a bonus. Happy travelling! Richard
